This filly has a large hip, an incredible shoulder and was born with withers! Her legs are correct and after 7days she was up off her pasterns, which brought her to her height of 10 HH. She is sweet, curious and learns quickly. She has already had her first bath and was very excited about being clean and cool, considering it was 100 degrees outside. She is quite brave and keeps her mommy busy trying to look after her. She is also quite the runner and has uncanny balance for one so young! I have even watched her perform a sliding stop! She will definately be a performance horse supreme!(June 2002)

A deer filly..

Little Miss Jewel is now 11.2 HH and growing like a weed!! She is filling in quite nicely and has the sweetest disposition. We are all in love with this little deer-like filly! (July 2002)

F1F Richwood's Jewel is now 3 months old, her weaning is coming up. She is over 11.2 HH. As you can see she is filling in very nicely. This filly is definately a Dressage prospect, her motion is elegant and deliberate. Jewel ponied her first trail ride and jumped every log in sight! She has shed out to a very nice seal brown infused with white hairs. She is very much an Appaloosa with all characteristics! But, she has her sire's build and speed. This girl will turn heads and win! (August 2002)

F1F Richwood's Jewel is now 9 months old. She is 13.2 HH. She has 90% of her F1F Yearling training completed. The only way to describe this jewel is "elegant and stunning". She is ready and waiting to bond with her future rider! Her heart and soul are ready to dance for you! (Feb 2003)

Currently (Jan 2004) Jewel is 15HH and still growing. She will be shown in hand this season if not sold!

Jewel is currently being introduced to the saddle, she is doing well at her training. She round pens wonderfully, lounges with a willing attitude and it seems she will be easy to get under saddle later this year. She has been shown once and came home in the ribbons. We are very pleased with her progress. (July 2004)

Jewel is under saddle and doing well. We are working on collection at this time. Jewel was shown this summer at HUS and Hunter Hack. Her behaviour was perfect. She has also been on the trails most of the summer. We just took her to a small local fair and she did her first jump course. She clean jumped all 7, when she came to the 8th jump, I knew she was tired, she stopped, was asked again and jumped it with no problem. (Aug 06).
